Deer Park Lumber currently has multiple openings for General Labor positions. These positions are entry level positions with a main focus on performing varied production tasks within in a safe and efficient manner. Candidates for this position will be required to perform these tasks in a typical sawmill work environment with exposure to some weather conditions, or in a manufacturing environment.

• Monitoring the processing of lumber products with occasional physical intervention to handle lumber

• Straightens lumber on conveyor to align lumber for grading and eventual shipments

• Train to operate various machinery and complete preventative maintenance as scheduled on assigned equipment

• Some climbing and crawling may be involved associated with work tasks
